Dr. Tingzon grew up in the western suburbs. In 1986 she graduated with a BS in Medical Technology from Andrews University. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School in 1990. Post-graduation, she undertook a general practice residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center, gaining advanced training in restorative dentistry, ora surgery, internal medicine, and anesthesia. Before settling in Geneva in 1996, Dr. Tingzon practiced in Park Ridge and Hoffman Estates.

Excellence in dentistry is at the heart of Dr. Tingzon’s philosophy. Each year, she dedicates numerous hours to continuing education. Her educational journey includes studying TMJ and occlusal disease at the esteemed Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education, followed by joint-based occlusion studies at the Piper Research and Education Center. Additionally, she completed a 2-year executive training program at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry. In 2018, Dr. Tingzon completed a Dental Sleep Medicine mini-residency at the University of North Carolina. From 2022-2023, she completed 3 pediatric sleep mini-residencies. By completing core and advanced training at the Bioclear Center, Dr. Tingzon has earned the distinction of being a certified Bioclear dentist. Actively participating in dental study clubs keeps her abreast of the latest in cutting-edge dentistry, with a current focus on TMJ disorders, dental sleep medicine, airway-focused orthodontics, and oral-systemic health.

Dr. Tingzon’s practice revolves around comprehensive dental treatment, early disease diagnosis, soft tissue management, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ therapy, and airway health. Beyond patient care, she is deeply committed to fostering the development, education, and personal growth of her team.

Membership in organized dentistry holds significant importance for Dr. Tingzon. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Fox River Valley Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She also belongs to the American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, the American Academy of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry, and the American Equilibration Society. Serving as a past president of the Fox River Valley Dental Society, she has represented the Society at multiple ISDS Annual Sessions as a delegate and engaged with local legislators in both local and Springfield settings to advocate for dental profession interests.

Outside the office, Dr. Tingzon finds joy in spending quality time with her family, particularly her nieces and nephews. Her interests extend to travel, gardening, and engaging in creative crafts.
